A Message from the Principal

Dear Families,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Heathridge PS.  I have been the Principal at the school since 2017.  In 2017, we had a very exciting year undergoing a very successful Independent School Review.  In 2018, year we published our new Business Plan for 2018-2020 that reflects our new whole school approaches in Literacy and Numeracy. We also introduced Talk 4 Writing and Oxford Maths across the school and in 2019 we continued with this as well as introducing Talk 4 Reading. Due to the impact of COVID-19,  we have put on hold the writing of our new Business Plan until after our Independent School Review in Term 4 this year.

Heathridge PS has the feeling of a small country school.  Our families are very involved in the school and everyone is made to feel part of the Heathridge Family.  We pride ourselves on providing a quality, inclusive education which instils a sense of belonging in our students. Values and pastoral care play a huge role in our daily approaches and as such our students exhibit exemplary behaviour at all times.

Regular communication is essential, therefore we use our closed Facebook Group Heathridge Primary School Official Group and Seesaw App across the school to keep in contact with families.

All staff and students support and uphold our motto of “Fly high - See far!” This year, we excitedly launched our new logo that represents our motto but also represents our focus on care and inclusion.
