Faction Colours

At Heathridge Primary School we have three factions all named after native birds of the area.

KOOLBARDI -  Means the Australian Magpie in Whadjuk Noongar peoples language. The school colour is Aqua.

MAALI         -  The Noongar word Maali means Black Swan. The school colour is orange.

DJIDI DJIDI -  The Willy Wagtail in the Noongar language.  The school colour is purple.

Noongar people have a deep respect for Djirda (birds) and the role they play within their spirit and physical world and environment.
